PROFILE

From the beginning when songs would come, they would come about in minutes, always melody and words coming together at the same time.
In 1984 I had a guitar rhythm and a melody and no words, I would try to write words for the melody but no ideas would come, and this went on for weeks. It really started to annoy me. Everytime I picked up the guitar, I started playing the song but I had no words.
One morning while still 1/2 sleeping. I knew the words for the song were in the Bible, in the book of Isaiah, and in chapter 53. When I gained a full state of consciousness, I ran to get my Bible and guitar. Sure enough it all came together and the song was completed in just a short time.
Isaiah 53 is from the first verses of chapter 53 found in the book of Isaiah, one line is from Hebrews 2:3. One line is in reference to John 14:6 and I am still amazed how John 3:16 flows so seemlessly into the melody. All the verses come from the K.J.V. ( King James Version )
In first Corinthians 1:18 ( The preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishnesss; But unto us which are saved it is the power of God.)
I pray this song will go forth and acomplish the will of our Lord.

However I believe this song is in accordance with First Thessalonians 4:18.( Wherefore comfort one another with these words)

^{I like everyone else, asked the question, WHY? After the Columbine High School massacre which occurred on Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School in Jefferson County, Colorado. Where two teenage students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, carried out a shooting rampage, killing twelve fellow students and a teacher, as well as wounding twenty-four others, before committing suicide. which was the deadliest school shooting in American History up until this point.
The answer to the question WHY?is not complicated or hard to understand when you compare the society of today in relationship to God's Word.In 1947 in the case of Everson vs. Board of Education The Supreme court ruled
The First Amendment has erected a wall between church and state. That wall must be kept high and impregnable. We could not approve the slightest breach.)
So armed with this precept form the Supreme Court of The United States of America the ones with the insight started to dismantle the foundation of our society,
In October 1961 the Supreme Court ruled in the case "Engel, vs. Vitale" (It is unconstitutional to offer verbal prayers in a school, regardless of denominational neutrality and voluntary participation.)
This ruling removed prayer from American schools even though for 185 years prayer was allowed in public.
The ones with the insight removed God from American schools, and what does God say, Psalm 14 verse 1, ( The Fool has said in his heart, There is no God.......) So I quess I can assume from God's word, that the ones who were leading the charge which resulted in the rulings to remove Prayer and the reading of the Bible from American schools were ( FOOLS ) not to mention the ones who had the decision making authority.
1999 was 38 years after the 1961 ruling against prayer and bible reading, 38 years is 2 years short of the 40 years considered by myself to be a social generation, for God waited 40 years, till the unbelievers died, before the children of Israel could go into the promised land. i.e. Numbers Chapter 14 verses 27 thru 37
So with the passing of each year America is slowly coming to the point, where the children of Israel came to. Judges chapter 2 verse10 (....and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the Lord, nor yet the works which he done for Israel.)
America's beginning was the work of God, The blessings of God have always been bestowed on America. But now we can see The United States of America has walked away from His Blessings. America is being spoiled, our land, our jobs, our riches, our peace, our safety, our children, everything that has sustaned us, is all fading away. There is only one way to stop the fall of America,

TRUST IN THE LORD

While reading the passages found in the book of Joshua where the children of Israel were told to get ready to go into the promised land ( Joshua chapter 3 ). I started to imagine what it must have been like for Joshua and the Levites and for the children of Israel.
While reading (Joshua 3:7) I knew our Lord wanted to prove to the children of Israel that as he was with Moses, so too, he was going to be with Joshua.
However, I am reading this real life drama in the comfort of my home, long after it happened, and when this was taking place, Joshua and the children of Israel were living thru it.
Now Joshua was man like any other man, and here he was being told to cross over the river Jordan, that just happened to be flooded. ( Joshua 3:15) and to top it off, the river will not dry up until the soles of the Levites feet touch the water, ( Joshua 3:13 )
I had to pause from reading to think about this. It's one thing to be told by God to cross a flooded river, but to add the part about the souls of the feet of the Levites was pushing the limits of what I would like, if I were Joshua.
Now this is where my imagination took over. If I were Joshua, I would probably have climbed up on a hillside to look things over before saying anything to anybody about what I had heard from God. Just to make sure I understood what I thought I understood.
From a hillside one could see the flooded river and the children of Israel. The children of Israel would have to begin preparations to move on, by packing up everything they owned.
Now we all have been put into trials where our faith was tested, but this was really something. Joshua might have been thinking, what if this doesn't work? this crowd is really gonna be mad, they are going to pack up everything, tents,cows,wagons,etc. for what? to go stand in a flooded river? and I could picture the look on the faces of the Levites when Joshua told them about what was going to take place. I could see the men look at the flooded river. I could understand if some of the men would have had second thoughts, like,( I hope Joshua knows what he's doing )
Our Lord could have dried the river bed where the people would cross before they started to pack up. or right after they packed up before the Levites lifted up the Ark, or right after the Levites lifted the Ark before they started walking, or maybe when the Levites were1/2 mile from the river, or maybe 1/4 mile, howabout 100 yards, 100 feet, 10 inches? No, it was not untill their feet touched the water, then the water dried up. The old saying holds true, ( Our Lord is never early, He is never late, He's always right on time )
I am sure when we look back accross the times in our lives, we can see this has been true. Our 20/20 hind sight rarely needs to be brought into focus, it is our foresight in times of trouble or in times of trial which come about to give our spiritual muscles some exercise that needs to be improved. I know this song has helped me to remember to walk by faith and to trust in the word of God and not to rely on the things that I see. I hope it will help others also.

The Holy spirit speaking thru Paul in his letter to the Corinthians is the inspiration.

The 2nd verse hints at ( Doctrinal Statements ) which is something I could never understand,
